Sports Management Club
Plymouth Sports Management is a University club that affords students interested in Sport Management and Business the chance to connect the two disciplines outside of the classroom. The Club constantly looks for opportunities for its members to network and gain experience in all aspects of Sports Management including but not limited to facility and event management, sports sales and sponsorship, sport marketing and promotion, and sport communication and broadcasting.
Through the Club, students have toured sports facilities, networked with professionals, hosted guest speakers from the industry, conducted promotions, organized and implemented events, volunteered with local organizations as well as participated in the annual Red Sox Networking Event. Since 2014, the club has worked hard to increase opportunities of all interested students. Plymouth Sports Management meets biweekly and is flexible in active membership.
Those interested in joining our membership or simply learning more about the club, can reach out to Megan Habershaw, Club President, at email@example.com.
Student Accounting Society
The Student Accounting Society is a great way to start networking. Unlike the other clubs on campus we don’t have a set meeting time. To be a part of this club you don’t need to set time aside every week! When we do have meetings it’s normally with a guest speaker who will talk either about the CPA exam, some of the best ways to approach it, and others talk about their career as a CPA. They speak on how they got to where they are now and what a typical day in or out of the office looks like. Being in this club is a great way to figure out what you want to do as you approach graduation. Either sitting for the CPA, taking masters classes or starting right away in your career. This just gives you the knowledge you need to choose the right track for you
